The name of this meteorite is impossible to say, but I have a "thing" for LL4's, and when this one came up at the Macovich Auction in Tucson (2001), I had to buy it.
It was deaccessioned from the Russian Academy of Sciences and bears RAS number 779. Savtschenskoje fell July 27, 1894 in the Ukraine. Only 2.5 kilograms were recovered.
